Using the motto 'All arts at once', the event aims at promoting the best heritage of Cuban culture and its present events, during an intense 10 days.
Los Van Van, Puppy y Los que son son, Adalberto Álvarez, NG La Banda, Charanga Habanera,Manolito Simonet y su Trabuco, Pachito y sus Kini Kini, Elito Revé y su Charangón, Paulito FG, Isaac Delgado, Habana de Primera, plus some other groups and orchestras will perform in several places in the Cuban capital city for the audience to enjoy.
As regards Performing Arts, the main groups and dance companies in the country will perform in the main rooms of Havana. The Cuban National Ballet, Conjunto Folclorico Nacional de Cuba, Danza Contemporanea de Cuba, Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba, Rosario Cardenas Dance Company, Cuba's Spanish Ballet Company, Danza Teatro Retazos Theater Company, Santiago Alfonso Company, and other important companies like Hubert de Blanck, Rita Montaner, Teatro El Público, El Ciervo Encantado, La Colmenita, Guiñol, Teatro de La Luna, Argos Teatro, among others.
Cuban cinema will be present with a great retrospective of the Revolution's cinema and pre-revolution. A group of films are to be screened made by the most relevant Cuban filmmakers to appreciate and important part of the nation's history.
Plastic Arts usually have a rich activity in Havana and the rest of the island. Therefore they join Habanarte naturally, planning for those days the second edition of Post-it, a Contest and Expo-sale of plastic arts for young artists under 35. They also expect presenting a folder including art reproductions from La Coleccion project, as well as visits to contemporary plastic artists´ workshops to exchange with these creators.
Cuba's Ministry of Culture and its institutions as organizers of events and festivals, they join efforts in an unprecedented experience that allow us to see a general sample of the country's artistic and literary production, as well as reunite the most exclusive patrimonial production of a nation convinced of the value of culture for Cuban identity and the spiritual development of its citizens.
