They will be joined by special guests and performers of music and spoken word from Cuba and beyond. Already confirmed are Alice Walker, Pulitzer Prize winning author of The Color Purple, and Rene Gonzalez, the first of the five Cubans wrongly jailed in the US for the last 15 years to be released.
This show is in support of Voices for the Five, an international campaign for justice for the Miami Five: five Cuban men unjustly imprisoned in the United States since 1998 for trying to defend Cuba against terrorist attacks. Their case has gained international support from thousands globally including world leaders, Nobel Prize winners, religious & human rights groups, politicians, academics, celebrities & Amnesty International.
