In the category of Best Classical Contemporary Composition, Brouwer, the most important twentieth-century Cuban composer, was nominated for Quartet No 4 – Rem Tene Verba Sequentur (Know The Matter And The Word Will Follow) by Zoho Music label.
Eliades Ochoa was also nominated for Best Traditional Tropical Album with "Un Beso para Ti", by record labels ACDAM and EGREM.
The album Blue Cha Cha by Manuel Galban (1931-2011), a fusion of guitar and percussion, produced by the Concord Picante label was nominated for Best Long Form Music Video.
The Latin Grammys ceremony will be held on Nov. 15 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
