Sharing the stage will be other local rock bands like Konflikt and Uranium Willy, and there will be theoretical meetings and presentations of the Punto G magazine and Scriptorium.
Brutal Fest is sponsored by the French Brutal Beatdown Records company, the Vrockal Metal Fest Association, from Switzerland, and the Cuban Rock Agency. The event took place for the first time in 2008, with the presentation of 10 Cuban groups.
The European bands performed for the Cuban public at Havana's Maxim Rock club, then went to western Pinar del Rio province; they perform in Matanzas on August 23, and in Villa Clara the following day.
The closing of this festival will take place in Havana on August 28, in which the Cuban groups Escape and Combat Noise will participate.
