Exploring the nation’s depth, identity, joy and hardship, Cubans by Cubans offers an intimate insight into the island’s people through the lens of 11 local Cuban photographers.
This fascinating exhibition, the first of its kind in the city of Bath, features 62 photographs including portrait, social and street imagery which tell an authentic story of a rich history and the present struggles of everyday life in Cuba.
Cubans by Cubans was curated by Louise Rushford, Exhibitions Manager at RRS and Cuba based writer and producer Katya Bleszynska, with the help and advice of local artist and illustrator Tristan Manco.
