All-star London based group Tristan Butler y Timba Británica will be joined by world famous, Grammy-award-winning vocalist, Mayito Rivera.
‘A Tribute to Los Van Van’ is a homage to world famous, multi-Grammy award winning Cuban group, Juan Formell y Los Van Van.
For over two decades, Mayito Rivera was the lead vocalist for Los Van Van and with his virtuosic range and creative improvisations, became known as ‘El Poeta de la Rumba’ (the poet of the Rumba).
Tristan Butler has put together the best Latino musicians in the UK. This 15-piece Latin orchestra is dedicated to performing the intricate, groove based arrangements of modern Cuban Salsa.
