New Murals Born Among Earthquakes in Santiago de Cuba

The murals were installed in the Vocational School of Art José María Heredia, Fernando Ortiz African Cultural Center and the crowded street Enramadas, bringing enjoyment to locals and visitors and aiming to strengthen the tradition of the city as a public space for this type of painting.

Valued at tens of thousands dollars, the works were donated to the city and will join the other 112 murals already embellishing the urban landscape as a result of previous editions of the event.

The Biennial was dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Cultural Workshop Luis Diaz Oduardo, the sponsoring institution, alongside other cultural institutions in Santiago.
