Cuban Artist, Ernesto Villanueva shows at his first London Exhibition

It will be Ernesto's first British Exhibition although he is well-known in Cuba and has exhibited widely in his homeland and internationally. His first London solo exhibition will feature ten recent works from his ‘Summer in my Garden' exhibition inspired by his relationship with the garden as an exclusive dwelling. This instinctive artist with his adept use of colour and motif recreates a sense of personal space and well-being. His work is strongly influenced by the New York School and Cuba's avant-garde movement in the 1950's. Ernesto's artist manager in London, Diane Soames comments that ‘Ernesto's artwork reflects his feelings and passion for his city with his use of colour, shapes and geometrical lines from his engineering background'.

Gallery Different Director Karina Phillip's says ‘we are thrilled to be involved in Ernesto's first exhibition in London. He has sold successfully through Sotheby's and Christies in New York and this Show in London is a rare opportunity to view and purchase this well-regarded Cuban artist'. -ENDS- Please join usatGallery Different, Percy Street, London
