Osmel Francis, director of Cubanos en la Red band, gave a lecture on the need to boost strategies to protect environment.
Francis called participants to write texts on problems such as climate change to boost environmental awareness among young people and in communities.
Magia Lopez, director of the Cuban Agency of Rap, urged rappers to raise quality of texts and encourage community projects including the four elements of this culture: rap, breakdance, Dj and graffiti.
Founded in 2005, the Symposium also included sessions on breakdance, gender and body language, led by French professor and choreographer Jeison Touzeau; and theater actress Lourdes Suarez.
