This jump is Savigne's best this year and qualifies as the second world best, two centimeters shy of Greek Chrysopigi Devetzi's 15.22 m, the current world leader. Devetzi was also at the meeting and with a 14.75 m jump managed to secure the silver medal. Ukraine's Olha Saladukha was third with 14.73m leaving Slovenia's Marija Sestjak fourth with 14.64.
Last week, at a meeting in Thessaloniki, the positions were the other way around with Devetzi on the top of the podium and Savigne as runner up.
