Celebrate the legacy of the legendary Buena Vista Social Club with a concert of their greatest hits, sharing traditional Cuban and Afro-Cuban music – with this special line-up led by Jesus ‘Aguaje’ Ramos.
Ramos (born 1951) is a Cuban trombonist, composer, arranger and musical director, best known as the original orchestra leader, composer and trombonist of The Buena Vista Social Club. He has also served long stints in world-class ensembles Estrellas de Areito and Afro-Cuban Allstars.
Ramos is joined by a starry ensemble including original Buena Vista Social Club members ‘Betun’ Luis Mariano Valiente Marin (congas, bongo), Emilio Senon Morales Ruiz (piano) and Fabian Garcia (bass).
