Competition: Win tickets to see Ariwo + Soundspecies Mon 23 April
We have a hot pair of tickets to see ARIWO + SOUNDSPECIES in London on Monday 23 April to give away, courtesy of ComoNo!
To enter the draw just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with subject 'ARIWO comp' with your full name and phone number. We will not pass on your contact details to anyone else. We will contact the winner soon after the draw.
Ariwo formed in London in 2015 and made their live premiere via a global online Boiler Room session. The band brings together Pouya Ehsaei and three of London's most influential Cuban musicians: Hammadi Valdes, Yelfris Valdes; and godfather of London's Cuban scene, Oreste Noda. Ariwo aim to connect their native musical traditions to electronic music in a way that pushes beyond traditional Cuban and Iranian identity, creating a sound that does not belong to any specific culture.
Support is Soundspecies (live), who explore the territory between traditional rhythmic percussion music and electronic dance music.
